It is no secret that staying in shape gets a little bit harder each decade. And what worked in your 20’s and 30’s might not work any more.

I commonly see women turn to cardio, bootcamps, follow along workouts, CrossFit, or workouts leaving you sore for days. This is not the most efficient path to optimize health and fitness in your 40’s and beyond.

You may feel like you put in a lot of effort into exercise but nothing seems to be working. OR you feel intimated and hopeless so why even bother.

This is exactly why I created Straight Forward Strength. Instead of giving up all together, let me show you how to workout smarter midlife so you can stay strong, get in great shape, feel better in your clothes, support your metabolism and recover better!

Straight Forward Strength Program will show you how to get noticeable results with workouts that are 20-35 minutes and can be done from home with only a pair of dumbbells. Resistance training is the best way support your metabolism and get stronger to actually see change.

Who this program is for:

  • Not for you if you want follow along video workouts. There are video links so you know how to do each exercise but it is not a recording of me taking you through a workout. You can go at your own pace which is more beneficial and customizable to you.

  • Not for you if you want a quick fix. This is going to lay out the foundation so you can get the results you want. Can you lose weight in the process? Sure. Will you get stronger? Yes. See muscle tone improve? Yep. The goal is to get your started so you can keep going and see incredible results.

  • Not for you if you don’t want to lift weights. This is 6 weeks of weight workouts. Now, if you have been hesitant about adding weight lifting in but know you should, this is your sign it is time.

Let me map out your workouts for the next 6 weeks so you can carve out some time for yourself and get in a routine that you don’t have to take a break from. FAQs

  • You will need 1 pair of dumbbells. Ideally 2 pairs of dumbbells, 1 heavier and 1 lighter so you can challenge yourself more in certain exercises but 1 pair will work to start. A yoga mat and a workout bench or a dining chair will also be used in the workouts.

  • The workouts take about 30 minutes depending on your current fitness level and the weight being used. There are 3 weight workouts a week to complete. I know life happens so even if you get 2 in you will do great.

  • The cardio is built into the workouts to save you time while still focusing on your endurance. There are not extra cardio workouts outside of the workouts because it is not necessary. You can add whatever activities you like to do in addition to the weight training.
